Dr. Josie Kosunick

Dr. Josie Kosunick

Dr. Josie Kosunick was born and raised in Solon, Ohio and is a graduate of Solon High School.  She graduated Cum Laude from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in June 2002 after receiving her Bachelor’s of Art degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University in 1998. Dr. Kosunick joined Dr. Scott at Broad View Eye Center in March 2003. Along with being a member of the American Optometric Association, Dr. Kosunick is also a member of the Ohio Optometric Association, serving as past treasurer.  She is a strong believer in supporting local and fellow small businesses and served on the Broadview Heights Chamber of Commerce Board for 3 years.  Around the office, Dr. Kosunick is affectionately known as the “mad scientist” for her innate ability to juggle 15 things at once – and move from one topic to the next at lightning fast speed. Dr. Kosunick resides in Olmsted Township with husband, Dr. Gregory Kosunick, a fellow optometrist for The Cleveland Clinic, and their three children: Vince, Adriana and Lena. Dr. Kosunick is a huge Zac Brown Band fan and has traveled the country (and globe) to catch a show – and she’s not shy about singing it while at work.  Also, in her free time, Dr. Kosunick enjoys traveling, snow skiing and spending time with her family and friends.
