Dr. Karen Malaski

My Why:

Meet Dr. Karen Malaski, a visionary optometrist with a knack for solving problems. She started her college career with the intent on becoming a dentist, but hold on to your water picks! The thought of all that drilling made her rethink her career path, and optometry it was. Never one to shy away from a challenge, her favorite challenge is a patient who has been told that contact lenses just aren’t for him/her….challenge accepted! She also loves building relationships with returning patients.

The Fun Stuff:

A die-hard Cleveland sports fan, you'll often catch her cheering on her beloved teams with the fervor of a true believer. When she's not busy diagnosing astigmatism, you'll find her jetting off to her happy place – Clearwater Beach, Florida – or dreaming of soaring above the Hawaiian Islands in a helicopter.

In her downtime, Dr. Malaski is a culinary wizard. She's not just an eye expert; she's a master chef, whipping up delights in the kitchen faster than you can say "tortilla." Mexican cuisine holds a special place in her heart, but her culinary adventures know no bounds.

And if you're looking for her on a sunny day, just head to the Cleveland Metro Parks, where she's probably out hiking, soaking in the great outdoors. With Dr. Malaski, you're not just getting top-notch eye care – you're getting a dose of laughter and adventure too!

The Credentials:

Dr. Malaski hails from the far-away land of Sagamore Hills. She’s a proud graduate of Bowling Green State University (go Falcons!) where she majored in Biology. She then went on to attend the Illinois College of Optometry and graduated with her doctor of optometry in 2004. Dr. Malaski sees patients at all three offices.
